Kinesio Taping has taken the rehabilitation and sports medicine worlds by storm. Originally developed by Dr Kenzo Kase, who still has an active role in the company, Kinesio has evolved through 30 years of research and development to become the therapeutic taping of choice for many leading sportsmen and women to support muscles, cut injury recovery times and aid lymphoedema reduction. Using a unique adhesive tape (Kinesio Tex), and specialist applications, Kinesio provides muscle support during activity without affecting range of motion. This innovative taping method has also been embraced by physiotherapists, sports therapists, occupational therapists, osteopaths and chiropractors.

Our Kinesio trainers have, since 2004, provided courses and workshops to over 5000 healthcare practitioners – many looking after some of the UK’s top sporting athletes. Kinesio, the innovative and brightly coloured sports tape, has helped many professional athletes at the top of their game as well as amateur enthusiasts participating in grass roots sports. You’ll have seen the tape at the London Olympics and Wimbledon and regularly worn by footballers throughout the League, including many premiership players.

Our UK office works with academic establishments, professional associations and organisations. The UK is at the forefront in researching the effectiveness of Kinesio Taping for sports injuries, as well as being a lead contributor in the use of Kinesio Taping within the fields of lymphoedema, paediatrics and equine.
