Elite Pilates Teacher Training was created to provide the South West with a high quality training provider, as the area offers limited options, especially in Devon!

We are the only training provider for Pilates Teacher Training in Devon who actually teach Pilates for a living, and we provide ourselves in providing an above standard service to you.

We are a husband and wife team and who also run our very own successful studio so we know first hand the challenges that you’ll face within the industry, not just in terms of your business, but with the type of clients you’ll have walking through your door, hence we have also created our own YMCA approved training manuals.

Apart from the 34 Classical Exercises that we are required to teach, we have also created another manual which covers over 30 more exercises to help you create a safe and effective program for your clients.  This is not something you will get on any course.  However, as we are DOING IT, we know that you will need this in order to keep your clients coming back, as you will know how to modify exercises, change them to be more suitable for the person or even offer alternatives when the need arises.

Not everyone that comes in off the street will be able to do the 34 Original Classical Exercises, however you’ll know how to prepare them and build their strength and confidence so that one day they can!

Our courses are run with no more than 12 and we provide you with a very bespoke personal service where you’ll be able to have contact with us throughout your course – not just on your practical days.  So no waiting until your next practical day to get your questions answered.

We genuinely care about your journey and want to ensure that the industry standard for Pilates Teachers is kept high.  For us, we are not just a training provider offering every qualification under the sun.  We specialise in PILATES.  We know how much Pilates can change people’s lives and our mission to help more people become GOOD Pilates teachers.  The more teachers out there the more people Pilates can help!

I had been practicing and enjoying the benefits of Pilates for about 8 years when I thought about learning to teach it myself. I was really worried that I would struggle with the academic side but the online learning package was really helpful and Tanja and Paul were very supportive. Tanja is an excellent teacher of Pilates and Paul has a very thorough knowledge of the body and how it works.

I now run my own business teaching Pilates – it’s a great way to earn a living and it is gratifying to see others benefit from it.

This course is not for the faint hearted!
Having said that, after both passing, we feel we have gained an immense achievement. Tanja and Paul throughout the whole of the course were very supportive and so generous with their information and guidance. We could not have got through it without them. The course books they created in addition to the YMCA materials were such amazing quality we didn’t want to write in them! These books were such a huge benefit to the course and will be something we will refer to in the future.
Both Paul and Tanja’s expertise on the subject is second to none. When we continually showed our ignorance, their patience in answering our queries was never-ending. They were very responsive to any plea for help via email, text, phone call, they were always available to help.
We recommend Elite Pilates Teacher Training for anyone wanting to achieve this qualification and are sure you will be immensely satisfied with the result, as indeed we are.
