Peter Francis is on a personal crusade to change the entire World’s outdated perception of where, how and by whom Meditation should be taught.
Peter possesses over 18 years of Meditation and Teaching experience having taught hundreds and hundreds of people his 3-step system to Meditate optimally. Peter is a former Met Police Counter Terrorism Officer who suffered a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) breakdown and recovered using Meditation.
His personal journey to study and master the many varying approaches to Meditation in the quest to first help his own recovery and understanding as to how and why Meditation has such a powerful impact also offered him the insight he needed to bring an up-to-date modernised 21st Century program of Mediation to serve Health and Wellbeing professionals also.
The truth is learning how to Meditate by a fully qualified and insured Exercise Professional whether in a gym setting or from home rather than an App, YouTube video, or even Buddhist or Self Proclaimed Guru on a retreat in a monastery or local Buddhist centre has far superior impact. Meditation Personal Trainers helps you be that Meditation teacher that people can access easily and use its power to help change their lives.
First you must learn Meditation, properly.
We offer two full days (16 hours) Meditation and Mindfulness instruction with teaching workshops on a Course approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REP’s) Independent endorsement provider PD:Approval for 16 CPD Points
1] You will learn the principles and practice of Mindfulness and Meditating and how to teach others to Meditate easily and effectively, in your usual personal training, fitness or exercise setting.
2] You will understand how to tailor Meditation techniques for different types of clients. You will also teach and inform your clients as to how Meditation will help them achieve their goals faster.
Founder, Peter FRANCIS, with over 18 years of Meditation and Teaching experience, will personally be guiding you through both the training day – max 6 students per programme.
– Instructor power point slides and worksheets that outline the principles of Meditation, how to teach short, effective Meditation and Mindfulness sessions – without a “Guru” in sight!
– A certificate of achievement when you successfully complete the practical assessment on the course.
– A new income stream from existing and also new clients after the course.
Most importantly, YOU will be taught how to Meditate too, so it doesn’t matter if you have never Meditated before or have never practised Mindfulness or some Meditation techniques before.

Level 3 Personal Trainer. It was really great to find a course in the area of meditation which was approved by REPs as a CPD course. Peter is very knowledgeable and has a real passion for the subject, not just as a discipline in itself but as an exercise for the mind that personal trainers can add to the exercise programmes they design for their clients. His system is straightforward and I’m sure my clients will benefit from it.
The facilities were great and I liked the small group format. I was also given excellent information in advance of the course around the local area and places to stay.
As a strong visual learner, I think the course would have been better for me if there had been more variety in delivery. I would say about 90% of it was listening and, while there was always the option to ask questions, I would have preferred it to have been more interactive and if the times spent listening could have been broken up more. I would also have liked the opportunity to practice what we were learning about meditation on other participants on the course and feel this would have improved my confidence.
Peter makes it very clear that he is happy to provide on-going support once the course has been completed and will help those who have been on the course understand how best to incorporate it into their business.
I am Level 3 PT with GP referral and had been looking for a course for a while but had found the more traditional motion of meditation and teaching didn’t sit with me. Level 4 trainer, personal trainer and mat-based Pilates teacher, I am also a holistic therapist. Experiencing the benefits of meditation myself, I did not have the skills or confidence to teach it. This course has changed that and I have my first interested client just two days after completing the course. Peter couldn’t have been more helpful and approachable both before, during and after the course. Although I initially thought the course quite expensive, the follow-on support is excellent and makes the course good value for money.

Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor I really enjoyed the weekend course learning mindfulness and meditation techniques. I felt that as a Pilates instructor, the course would be a good way to enhance the mind/body element of Pilates that I try to incorporate into my classes. An excellent course. I came in having only experienced meditation through an app. I came away from this course with a more simplified and effective method of meditating for myself, as well as the confidence to teach it to others. The MPT course is a fabulous way for PT’s to offer something a little more holistic: a way of addressing mental health as well as physical health. Peter’s knowledge about meditation itself is fascinating, & the method he has created to bring meditation into the 21st century is practical & doable. Over a 2 day course he conveys his step-by-step MPT system to PT’s giving them a simple, highly teachable structure which they can then take away & start using on their own clients. Brilliant!

I am the founder of the G.M. YOGA Studio in Bourne End, Bucks. And wanted to learn to teach Meditation so I could offer more to my clients. After much difficult searching for a suitable non-religious Meditation training provider, I found Peter who runs Meditation Personal Trainers. This course was wonderful. The course and venue were both very relaxing before even doing any meditation. Peter explained and demonstrated the techniques in an easy to understand way which left me feeling relaxed and confident moving forward with my own practice and teaching others. As a newly qualified PT I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn practical, evidence based stress management techniques that the Meditation Personal trainer course provided. Having provided workplace wellbeing in previous employment roles, it is great to now be able to combine my personal training knowledge with this REPS endorsed course that I can use as part of my workplace wellbeing package (the CPD points were a pleasant bonus- but I would have done this course even without them). The course instructor took the time to answer the many questions that we had, and gave practical demonstrations and offered followed up support. Very enjoyable course, the venue was great (particularly the amazing garden space and warm staff). Definitely worth the weekend trip to Norwich!
A great course based upon knowledge and experience. Worth doing for any PT or instructor looking to give their clients more than the usual physical training. i have found since doing the course that clients love and ask for meditation as part of their training programs.
