This online course will provide you with the information needed to safely integrate techniques for Joint Support Taping and Strapping Techniques with your clients. By the end of the course, you will be able to understand the concept of Taping and Strapping, why and how it can be used for joint support within performance or rehabilitation exercises or activities. You will also gain an understanding of the anatomy and physiology link, the standards of practice and what to be aware of. Furthermore, you will be able to identify suitable equipment to use, what techniques to use and how to evaluate the process. And finally, you will be able to recognise some of the contraindications that would prevent a person from undertaking a taping and strapping strategy.
